Hornblower, Livia, Gibran

Beat to Quarters -- adventure in the Pacific!

I'm now in the middle of Ship of the Line, and I'm probably actually going to take gobs of time, comparatively speaking, as I have Things To Do Other Than Reading ™ right now.

However, started in on Barrett's Livia, no actual opinion formed as yet.

And, I'm re-browsing Khalil Gibran's The Prophet. It remains one of the most meaningful pieces I've ever read.

Oh, and Taking the Path of Zen is now on my bookshelf. Picked it up last week or so.

Hornblower novels

Lieutenant Hornblower
Hornblower and the Hotspur
Hornblower during the Crisis
Hornblower and the Atropos

*sigh* What can I say? I'm still all misty. It's a treat when I remember stuff in one -- I know I haven't read any of these since before I was 20 -- it's twice the treat when I realized somehow I missed a book! Wheeee!
